September is my favorite month of the year. As it is time to wave goodbye to it, I had a look at the camera roll and I’ve picked a few highlights.

First of all, I have a picture from the ChemSkills Project conference in Serbia where I went on behalf of IKEM – Innovations- och kemiindustrierna i Sverige. It was really nice to meet everyone in the consortium again. We are 33 organizations from 13 countries changing the chemistry industry. Every time we meet I am getting to know everyone a bit better. This was also my first visit to Serbia (might write something more about that later on). I’ve chosen a picture of me in the panel because I really enjoy speaking. Writing books is just a way of packaging things I want to tell. Speaking is what I do best.

As many of you know by now, I also enjoy taking pictures. I’ve documented sheep shearing (and learnt a lot about wool in the process) and I spent the last weekend at Bokmässan / Gothenburg Book Fair in Gothenburg on behalf of Boktugg AB. It was great catching up with fellow authors again. One of many topics of conversations: what skills do authors have? We agreed on discipline. That is what we are really good at. Speaking about that, I need to allocate more hours working on my different book projects next year.

In between, I spent a lovely weekend in Ljusnedal at a harvest festival as an exhibitor and a speaker getting lots of praise for my books and a new reseller. I have also written an article on my travel blog about one of Sweden’s world heritages, go check it out if you understand Swedish. My camera roll also reminds me that I’ve been picking mushrooms in Halland, drinking coffee in sunny Östergötland and caught some Aurora Borealis.

A good September!

This is the first of a series of montly recap that I started writing on LinkedIn and later copied to this site as an archive.
