Hello there!
When was the last time you updated your LinkedIn profile and your list of skills? Most people only think to do it when they’re considering new opportunities or are actively on the hunt.
But keeping skills current is useful beyond job searching. I’ve had some interesting conversations recently with LinkedIn about their tools that analyses the skills employers seek versus the skills candidates have. The results are impressive—and could be even more accurate if we all kept our profiles updated and were honest about our skill sets. (And then I would get better reports to one of the projects I am working on).
I should update mine, too. With so many different roles, it’s hard to know where to start! I asked ChatGPT:
”Kristina Svensson is a Swedish author, science communicator, and photographer known for her evocative travel books about the French Riviera and the Swedish mountains. Her work combines storytelling and striking photography, inviting readers to experience each destination vividly.
Among her best-known titles are Mitt Nice and Strövtåg i Funäsfjällen, where she guides readers through landmarks and hidden gems, capturing culture, history, and natural beauty. Svensson’s personal approach brings depth to her writing, inspiring readers to explore on their own.
Beyond travel writing, Svensson mentors new authors, sharing her knowledge of writing and self-publishing. With her experience and enthusiasm, she continues to inspire in the Swedish literary world.”
Hmm. I think I need to update ChatGPT about what I am doing. Probably my Wikipedia page is out of date too.
Anyway. It’s time for my October photo recap! This month my photos are all from weekends. Weekdays (and some weekends) have kept me busy writing reports—not exactly photogenic work! But I’ve seen som different forests during the weekends.

The montly recap above has previously been published on LinkedIn.
